The digital cloud environment allows for a unified platform that accelerates project delivery for architects, engineers and contractors with reduced risk. It enables project teams to easily coordinate and manage data between field and office with a centralized location and access from almost anywhere, at any time. Solutions include BIM (Building information Modeling) Cloud based solutions support real -time, informed decision-making, leading to more predictable and profitable outcomes. This presentation will introduce cloud colaborations tools and examine a case study by one firm for a construction contract administration software tool.

By attending this presentation, attendees will be able to:

  • explain the basic functions and purpose of a cloud-based project management software/service.
  • discuss how a cloud-based project design, collaboration, and documentation workflows can be managed through software.
  • describe how to efficiently manage submittal reviews and RFI responses in a cloud environment.
  • identify the benefits of connected BIM and cloud-based collaboration for a project team.
